Our Quantitative and Chemical Biology (QCB) program offers cross-disciplinary training to doctoral students from programs in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Cell, Molecular and Cancer Biology, and Neuroscience on the IU campus. Our program is founded on the principle that integration of the culture of multiple disciplines inherently strengthens the scientific enterprise and leads to solutions not found through any one discipline alone. It is within this framework that the QCB program commits to recruit and engage young scientists from a wide range of cultures, races, ethnicities, religions, socioeconomic backgrounds, gender identifications and sexual orientations. The QCB leadership, training faculty, and all of our trainees share a common goal of empowering scientists early in their careers to leverage their unique perspectives and life experiences to address our most pressing scientific challenges in human health and medicine.
