Prospective trainees are admitted to the University Graduate School in one of five departments or programs and earn their Ph.D. degrees in that department or program:
Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry: College of Arts and Sciences
Biology: College of Arts and Sciences
Cell, Molecular and Cancer Biology (CMCB): School of Medicine
Chemistry: College of Arts and Sciences
Neuroscience: College of Arts and Sciences
