Lamb Publication

Friday, October 17, 2025

Current QCB fellow Emma Lamb (Hundley) authored on a recent publication in Methods in Enzymology, titled "A probe-based capture enrichment method for detection of A-to-I editing in low abundance transcripts." The paper specifically ffocuses on a method for enrichment of low-abundance transcripts that can facilitate more efficient sequencing and detection of RNA editing events. This work is inspired by RNA sequencing becoming a standard tool for researchers studying RNA biology and led to the discovery of RNA editing sites present in a multitude of organisms, across tissue types, and in disease. Congratulations Emma on this work!
