Undergraduate Chemical Biology Symposium

The inaugural IU Undergraduate Chemical Biology Symposium will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025. This symposium will include a meet-and-greet boxed lunch at 12p, 4 invited lectures, a facility and campus tour, and a faculty/student poster session with pizza. The confirmed speakers are Jordan Froese, Ball State University; Sarah Fantin, Hannover College; Wally Novak, Wabash College; and Ben Burlingham, Indiana University. The poster session will also include posters from current IU undergraduates who are pursuing thesis research and information on our graduate program. All events will be held in the IU Chemistry Building and the adjacent Indiana Memorial Union (IMU). This event is being held in conjunction with the 14th annual Watanabe Symposium in Chemical Biology at IU the following day (Saturday, April 12). Confirmed speakers for that event include Tania Lupoli, New York University; Lara Mahal, University of Alberta; and Brad Moore, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego.
